While Weisse Arena Group did engage with local universities and yielded successful results from collaboration, the strategic business innovation team saw the opportunity to extend existing relationships and engage with universities beyond geographic limitations, particularly due to the fact, that the clientele of the LAAX ski resort is becoming ever more global, attracting snow addicts from all parts of the world.
TELANTO gave the Group the perfect means to tap into student potential from regions in which they continue to seek a greater brand awareness and future customers for LAAX. The great variety of the TELANTO network also allowed them to mix challenges for a business student body with challenges oriented towards data scientists and mathematicians, who are able to add important multidisciplinary skills to business related questions, such as predictive demand analysis for skiers and riders over certain periods of time - being better prepared to cater to the needs of their customers.
Also climate change and sustainability challenges are a big consideration at LAAX and the group. Both aspects are being addressed through the platform to seek solutions for pressing challenges.
Our mission statement expresses our ambitious goal to continually improve ourselves and our product portfolio:
“We delight our guests through passion and quality of service. For the guest, convenience and simplicity take centre stage. At our resort, skiers, snowboarders and freestylers enjoy unforgettable experiences.”
TELANTO provides us with an ideal platform to collaborate in an easy and manageable and yet very impactful way with students
