Planting Trees to Balance Carbon Foot Print
With the model in place, we are ready to take the next step; scaling, fast. But why fast? We need to scale fast in order to succeed (https://www.carbonbrief.org/analysis-four-years-left-one-point-five-carbon-budget), in other terms, we have four years to make offsetting of our individual carbon foot print a global cause. To succeed we need to activate as much brainpower as possible! And we need to rely on bright minds thinking in new ways, enabling us to take control of the situation caused by ‘conventionally-thinking’ older generations.
The Global Academic Business Network
In this respect, we consider Telanto a second-to-none opportunity! With a global and academically widespread reach we have faith that interdisciplinary and cross-cultural collaboration will lead to innovative and game-changing solutions. The challenge we bring to the table, addresses the need for rapid global adaptation of our solution. In other words, we ask for 1) ideas to new business models capitalizing on our solution, and 2) ideas to marketing campaigns having the potential to attract global attention to this topic, and our solution. We target three segments: – Global organizations – Wealthy philanthropists – Global citizens

About Grow For It
Globally, we are emitting more than 30 billion tons of CO₂ – year after year! Considering even the most optimistic scenarios for a phase-out of fossil fuels, still many years remains where billions of tons of CO₂ will be emitted into our atmosphere – a volume which by far exceeds what we can afford in the Earth’s “climate budget”. Grow | For | It is a citizen based initiative acting on this. Essentially, we are working to purify the atmosphere from CO₂ – while creating a carbon storage facility so robust, that it caps the atmospheric level of CO₂ at an acceptable level, even if the UN emission targets are not met. Our method is simple and efficient: we plant trees. Planting trees essentially enables you to offset as much CO₂ as you want, it’s just a matter of planting enough trees. And once planted, you have an efficient CO₂ storing facility, working day after day, year after year, potentially for the next 70 to 100 years. Yes, it is indeed a lot of trees, but not more than we can accommodate at deserted areas of our globe – and area-wise, not more the area forested pre-industrialization. Throughout the last five years Grow | For | It has established a model making it possible to offset your carbon footprint in a fashion having several positive environmental and economic spin-offs. Our model ensures full transparency allowing you to ‘track your trees’ (GPS coordinates and photo documentation), and via a one-time payment, you carbon footprint is offset for life.
